VACANCY FOR MACHINIST
Applications are invited from qualified and experienced persons to fill the post of Machinist
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Five Subjects CXC inclusive of Maths and English
- Machinist Certification recognized from a Technical Institution.
- Three years minimum experience as a Lathe Operator with knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems.
- Must be fluent in Excel and Word
- Computer application experience – Working with CAD/CAM technology and CNC machines will be an asset.
Other, non-technical skills such as team-building & problem-solving. Must be able to communicate effectively and work independently.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Obtain dimensions from metal components and manufacture seals using SKF Seal Jet CNC Machine. Prepare manufacturing slip with evaluations, prepare quotes, and communicate with end-user. Maintenance of equipment according to a maintenance plan.
