CHIEF MECHANIC
Main duties:
- Responsible for the management of the automotive workshop.
- Lead a team of highly skilled automotive technicians
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and assigning duties to technicians.
- Submits weekly reports to the General Manager on the status, objectives and achievements of the workshop.
- Collaborates with the General Manager in cleaning and detailing of new vehicles.
- Ensures a clean, safe and healthy work environment.
Job requirements:
- Certificate in automotive repairs and maintenance from a recognized vocational institution, with at least 5 years’ experience as an automotive technician.
- Working knowledge of automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of all health and safety practices in a mechanical workshop.
- Possession of a valid driver’s licence to drive carsand vans.
- Have basic computer skills.
- Customer service skill would be an asset
