DESCRIPTION
The position requires the jobholder to perform and supervise maintenance duties on the company’s compound. Train and oversee workers and determine repair procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in plumbing and electrical is an asset.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
To prepare staff rosters on a fortnightly basis.
To submit timesheets to the HR Department on a daily basis.
To supervise and train Crew Members using cleaning chemicals, machinery, and other tools required for maintaining infrastructure.
To inspect cinema auditoriums, car parks, tenants’ stores and booths, and all facilities on the compound.
To review maintenance records to facilitate repair scheduling.
Identify when cleaning responsibilities need to be initiated and perform routine checks for each shift of Crew Members including, but not limited to, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning glass, wiping off counters, picking up trash, empty trash cans and depositing trash bags into dumpster or compactor.
Perform general electrical maintenance.
Repairing and replacing equipment, electric wiring and fixtures.
Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
Ensure adherence to Health and Safety standards.
Ensure restrooms are stocked with soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
Report to maintenance manager of any issues.
Perform other duties as required.
