Manage and overlook the company’s overall Marine Insurance portfolio

Hands-on person with good communication skills and proven supervisory skills

Resilient, possesses a sense of urgency and work well under demanding timeline

Strong conceptual, negotiation, & analytical skills

Good interpersonal skills

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or Finance from a recognized institution

Must be computer Literate (QuickBooks Proficiency)

At least 5 Years’ insurance experience at a managerial position handling marine insurance

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assess the risks of all Marine insurance policies

Proven experience in marine insurance management, with strong background in shipping industry with a focus on: Marine Hull Insurance, Marine Liability Insurance, Marine Cargo Insurance, Protection & Indemnity and related coverages

Review control reports to certify compliance with regulatory practices

Actively works to establish processes that are proactive, efficient and cost-effective

Keep senior management abreast with the department progress
