DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented and motivated System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our organization’s server infrastructure. Additionally, the System Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the security and performance of our systems.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).

Experience with network administration and security practices.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Cloud Infrastructure Management: Provision and manage virtual machines, storage, and other cloud resources.

Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud-based infrastructure.

Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect cloud resources.

Configure access controls and permissions for users and services.

Regularly assess and address security vulnerabilities.

Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions for cloud-based data.

Develop and test disaster recovery plans for cloud environments.

Networking: Configure and manage network resources in the cloud.

Establish and maintain secure connections between on-premises and cloud environments.

Identity and Access Management: Manage user identities and access to cloud services. Implement and enforce authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Automation: Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline repetitive tasks. Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage and deploy cloud resources.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT professionals, including system administrators, network administrators, and security specialists.

Work with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud-based applications.

Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. Collaborate with support teams to address complex technical issues.
