We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Manager to join our team in Linden, Guyana. The Business Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our business processes. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.

Proven experience in office management or business administration.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Prior experience in human resources support is an advantage.

Familiarity with local labor laws and compliance requirements in Guyana.

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and manage daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Oversee office maintenance, including equipment, supplies, and general facilities.

Post and screen job applicants for various positions within the organization.

Assist in the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews and onboarding new employees.

Manage workload distribution among team members to ensure optimal productivity.

Handle general administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing office correspondence.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Facilitate effective communication within the team and between departments.

Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and requests.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient and responsive service.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Implement best practices to enhance overall office functionality.

Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

Keep abreast of changes in local labor laws and compliance requirements.
