DESCRIPTION

Distribution Services Limited a subsidy of Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) is seeking applications from interested persons with the requisite qualifications and experience, for the position of Sales Representative.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate should have a minimum of five (5) CSEC subjects inclusive of Mathematics.
Owner and licensed Driver of motor vehicle.
Though not necessary, prior experience would be an asset.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to plan, organize and manage time effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Present and sell entire portfolio of the company’s products and services to assigned list of customers and potential customers.
Effective management of accounts receivables for assigned customers and routes.
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback of competing categories gathered through field activity.
Coordinate with the Dispatch personnel to ensure all customers’ deliveries are fulfilled on time.
Complete reports including daily customer visitation reports, customer service reports and trade age management reports.
