MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Job summary:
The maintenance manager oversees all repairs and maintenance of equipment, building and landscape.

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Requirements:
• Minimum of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution and at least 3 years’ experience in a related job
or
• Certification in Refrigeration/AC from a recognized vocational institution with at least 5 years’ experience in the maintenance and repairs to refrigeration and AC
• Working knowledge of maintenance machinery and equipment
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

Duties:
• Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations
• Prepare maintenance department payroll/ timesheet
• Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance
• Maintain all machinery to ensure they meet working standards
• Create and implement maintenance procedures
• Conduct regular inspections of the equipment to detect and resolve problems
• Plan and manage all repair and installation activities
• Ensure that all workers adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Assign repair schedule and evaluate repair cost estimates
• Document and prepare progress reports and maintenance logs
• Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary
