VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions: –
ACCOUNTANT
Qualifications
1) ACCA completion of parts I, II and III, Institute of Internal Auditors (HA) or Associate Charted Management Accountant (ACMA) examinations with three (3) years’ experience as an Assistant Accountant.
or
2) A Diploma in Accountancy from a recognised institution PLUS four (4) years’ accounting experience of which two (2) years should be at the level of Assistant Accountant.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
1) Considerable knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
2) Excellent communications and analytical skills.
3) Knowledge of preparing financial reports, budget etc.
4) Knowledge of computer software such as MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel and Power Point) and e-mail communications.
