KITCHEN ASSISTANT – Mezze Inc.

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Assistants to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support a team of kitchen staff in all aspects of food preparation and kitchen maintenance. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring cleanliness, assisting with meal prep and maintaining organization within the kitchen.

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays are required.

• Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
• Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables and other ingredients.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and stored properly.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries from Bond to kitchen.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Team Leader or Branch Manager.
