Description
The Merchandiser plays a key role in ensuring the effective display and promotion of products in retail stores. The role involves working closely with sales teams, store managers, and vendors to maximize product visibility and ensure that the product is fresh, properly stocked, and available to meet consumer demand. The Merchandiser plays a critical role in driving sales through effective product placement and inventory management.
Requirements
- Three CXC ordinary level subjects or high school completion or proven experience in merchandising or related role.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Some form of motorized vehicle ownership. (Motorbike, car, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Organize and display products to maximize sales.
- Ensure shelves are always stocked and attractive.
- Monitor inventory and provide insights for better sales.
- Collecting market insights and reporting feedback to the management team.
