Description

• The frequency and nature of unresolved legitimate service complaints from customers are minimized

Requirements

• A sound secondary education
• One (1) year experience working in a warehouse/distribution environment
• Knowledge of how to handle goods/products safely
• Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule
• Physical ability to load and unload goods/items
• Ability to follow instructions and achieve tasks within assigned timeframes

Responsibilities

• Check/verify the goods/items that are loaded in the respective delivery truck(s) you are assigned to ensure customers receive their correct orders
• Handle customer’s orders with due care to ensure that the quality of the product is not compromised
• Ensure customer’s products are off-loaded on time
• Seek feedback on provided services and customer complaints to warehouse managers promptly
• For any query for credit and return communicate with the Warehouse manager
• Report to the warehouse manager(s) any shortage/ extra items/products delivered to customers
• Verify the offloading of items delivered in the presence of the customers to ensure the items received by the customers are as stated on the invoice/delivery note.
• Ensure the customer signs off as received for products/ items delivered
• Ensure payments collected is the same as stated on the invoice
• Inform customers about new products and services
• Assist driver in keeping vehicles that you are stationed on cleaned, properly maintained, and fueled
• Assist in offloading stocks/items/products from containers( products received from suppliers) into the warehouse as required
• Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the company
