Our client operating in the manufacturing and distribution sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cashier to join our team. To succeed as a Cashier, you should have a strong work ethic and a high level of accuracy. Candidate should be responsible, attentive to customer needs, and committed to providing consistent excellent service.

Requirements

• At least five CXC passes including Mathematics and English
• Completed or pursuing AAT or CAT diploma would be an asset
• At least one (1) year’s experience performing cashing functions
• Computer literate and able to use relevant software applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational skills and able to manage one’s time and resources
• Ability to be flexible with changes in stipulated hours

Responsibilities

• Collects all monies, cheques and cash instruments received from all sales vehicles and prepares same for deposit daily
• Prepares bank deposit daily and ensures that same is handed over to the Company’s authorized security service for delivery to bank
• Prepares daily cash reports and accounts for all deposits made on each shift
• Executes all counter sale customer transactions and maintains the cash float
• Conducts payouts to both permanent and temporary cash vouchers within agreed timeframes
• Updates the Microsoft D365 system with monies received from truck drivers and customers within agreed timeframes
• Performs all other related duties as required by the job function.

Remuneration/Benefits

Renumeration: GYD $194,210 gross

Work hours: (10:00 Am to 7:00 Pm)

Must reside on the East Bank vicinity.

Transportation costs will be reimbursed for work done after 9:00 PM.

Availability to start: Immediately.
