CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO) – Muneshwers Ltd

Description

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee all operational functions within Muneshwers Limited. As the Chief Operating Officer, you will be at the helm of driving efficiency and ensuring seamless execution of all operations, including vessel management and wharf operations, at both our Water Street and inland terminal.

Additionally, the role will oversee Less-than-Container Load (LCL) handling specifically at our Water Street location, ensuring efficiency and adherence to operational standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in senior operational roles, preferably within maritime, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of Vessel, Wharf, and LCL operations.
• Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities.
• Strong track record in optimizing operational processes, improving productivity, and managing large-scale operations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across departments.
• Lead strategic planning for the management of Vessel, Wharf, and LCL operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and optimal performance.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance service quality, and drive growth.
• Manage teams across operational areas, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Drive process improvements, technological advancements, and continuous innovation within operations.
• Collaborate with Heads of department to develop and achieve business objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
