Branch Manager

As the Mall Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and management of multiple branch within our organization, which includes Mezze Inc., Burger Republic Inc., Boost Foods, Below Zero Rolled Ice Cream, Toucan Tango Cafe, and Mex Mexican Restaurant. This role involves ensuring that each branch operate efficiently, maintains high standards of customer service, and meets sales and profitability goals. You will be the central point of leadership, driving consistency and excellence across all locations.

Requirements

  • Minium of 5 years of relevant work experience (3 Years in a senior leadership role)
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management; Hospitality; or Food and Nutrition OR equivalent years of experience
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of the food industry
  • Must have knowledge of, and be willing to enforce applicable laws and necessary Health and Safety protocols
  • Must have a valid food handler’s certificate and police clearance
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work well without supervision
  • Must be proactive
  • Must be an excellent team player
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and motivate the teams at each branch, ensuring that all staff are well-trained, engaged, and committed to providing exceptional customer service. Conduct daily briefings to communicate important information, listen to staff concerns and check grooming and hygiene standards before each shift. Have a transparent approach with the team to build and maintain trust in leadership and management. Lead by example.
  • Operations Oversight: Oversee daily operations of all branches, ensuring consistency in processes, quality of products, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Adhere to opening and closing checklists for respective roles and ensure daily compliance. Identify gaps and discuss with General Manager to have permanent solutions to bridge the gaps and ensure smooth operations. Refer SOPs in both FOH and BOH operations daily and ensure the team is aware about the same.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that each branch delivers a high level of customer satisfaction, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues effectively. Ensure consistency in all shifts.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with Inventory Management to ensure timely and efficient stock replenishment for all branches.
  • Inventory Efficiency and Wastage Control: Regularly monitor the flow of supply chain by coordinating with respective stakeholders of all outlets, commissary kitchen, stores and inventory manager. Have a strong control over wastage, theft and overall inventory. Use necessary tools to monitor the inventory and wastage.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all branches comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Closely coordinate with General Manager, Pest Control team and Mall management to have a pest control treatment scheduled and carried out in regular frequencies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on branch performance to General Manager, including customer feedback and operation issues.

  • Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, new product offerings, and other innovations to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programmes for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge and ensuring continuous professional development opportunities for all employees.
  • Maintenance and Upkeep: Have a plan for preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment. Closely coordinate with General Manager to ensure the equipment in their best condition always. Coordinate with the maintenance team and minimize the impact of any equipment failure in operations.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise among staff or with customers; implementing strategies to maintain a positive and cohesive work environment.
