Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer ServiceRepresentative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in various aspects of cargo handling and documentation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in the logistics or
shipping industry.
Responsibilities
- Answering all incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assisting customers in onboarding and utilizing the Maersk website.
- Issuing Maersk Lien Cancels and Asycuda Agent Release documents.
- Monitoring emails on both Maersk and Muneshwers domains and responding promptly.
- Notifying customers of cargo arrival and monitoring free periods for cargo.
- Performing both digital and hardcopy filing tasks efficiently.
- Record weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to timely email response and notifications to customers.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
