Description

Preparation and processing of transactions, reviewing financial documents and information, and interacting closely with the Finance manager to solve any problems or queries.

Requirements

  •     A minimum of five (5) subjects CXC including English and Mathematics
  •     A Diploma/ Degree from a recognized University in Accountancy or CAT qualification or presently pursuing same.
  •     At least three (3) years’ experience in the accounting field with similar role.
  •     Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
  •     Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  •     Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  •     Keep track of all daily expenses.
  •     Entered all daily transactions as it relates to accounts payables.
  •     Record all payments, work advances, and purchases in the Company’s software.
  •     Ensure that the software is balanced and all transactions are recorded correctly at the end of each day.
  •     Ensure that filing is done on a daily basis as required by Finance Controlling.
  •     Have knowledge of all transaction payments in software.
  •     Report all differences and system issues on a timely basis.
  •     Ensure that department/Equipment is are kept in an immaculate manner.
  •     Complete AML/CFT training provided by the company and comply with the Act stipulated by the government of Guyana.
  •     Any Other Duties assigned by Management.
