VACANCY FOR ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE OFFICER
The National Insurance Scheme-Guyana invites suitably qualified individuals to fill the fullt-ime position of Electrical Maintenance Officer.
The post of Electrical Maintenance Officer is permanent, pensionable and an attractive remuneration is offered.
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the proper functionality of all electrical equipment and systems within the organisation by carrying out regular inspection and testing of electrical systems, recommending
strategies to replace or fix electrical problems and ensuring that all electrical systems of the building are performing as required.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Applicants should possess at least a Technician Certificate in Electrical Installation from G.T.I or from a recognized Institution plus a valid Government Electrical Contractor License (which
was enforced for the past 3 years), and a minimum of five years of experience in electrical construction, maintenance and repair plus experience in maintaining generator set (electrical aspect).
Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning would be an asset
