The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) is seeking suitably qualified individuals to fill the role of Temporary Trainer in preparation for the upcoming Local Government Elections.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Designing and developing training materials specifically tailored for the conduct of Local Government Elections.
- Instructional Delivery: Organizing and implementing effective training strategies for election staff.
- Assessment: Evaluating the performance of participants at the conclusion of each training session.
- Administration: Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all training activities.
- Field Work: Candidates must be willing to travel to rural and Hinterland regions, including overnight stays, to facilitate training.
Requirements
- Option 1: Degree in Education or a relevant discipline with 2+ Years applicable experience.
- Option 2: Diploma in Education or a related discipline with 3 Years applicable experience.
- Option 3: Trained Teacher’s Certificate or relevant tertiary qualification with 5 Years applicable experience.
- Note: Qualifications must be from the University of Guyana or a similarly recognized and reputable institution.
