Truck Driver
OBJECTIVE:
Drive the assigned vehicle following Foreman (or other reference people in the plant, base, yard, field facilities) instructions, by safety and quality standards and following field/ local road and traffic laws/ regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow daily instructions given by the Foreman by safety standards and applicable field/ local roads and traffic laws/ regulations.
- Ensure on-time arrival at the pickup and drop-off point respecting speed limits.
- Report immediately to the proper authority whenever a vehicle is involved in an accident regardless of the extent of damage.
- Verify the vehicle is clean and in good operating condition and report any anomalies to the Foreman.
- Verify the vehicle daily checklist to be ready for correct operations. Perform pre-pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle.
- Ensure the maximum attention is paid in order not to cause any harm or damage with the use of the vehicle.
- Follow the permit-to-work statement and obtain the necessary documents to transport goods.
- Ensured cargo is secured properly and compliant with safety and quality requirements.
- Follow the load and unload cargo.
- Keep a log of activities (i.e. cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, fuel expenditure, etc.)
Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience
- Defensive Driving Certification
- Van, Truck & Tractor local driver’s license
