Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across Soesdyke, Safa Point, Maracouba and all active projects.
- Plan and issue daily dispatch for equipment, trucks, barge/wharf and manpower.
- Enforce SOP compliance: Timemark evidence, WhatsApp reporting, Fleetio work orders and fuel controls.
- Verify production, trip counts and lost-income exceptions.
- Coordinate with Sales for delivery scheduling and customer commitments.
- Coordinate with Finance for invoicing triggers, job costing and credit control.
- Lead supervisors and run daily accountability huddles.
- Escalate safety incidents, downtime and customer risk immediately.
- Maintain weekly KPI pack and report to the CEO.
Requirements
- 3 – 5+ years in operations management, dispatch, logistics or related field
- Proven leadership and team supervision skills
- Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving
- Experience with fleet or heavy equipment operations
- Strong reporting and KPI management skills
- Valid Driver’s Licence preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
