CIVIL ENGINEER
The Guyana Sugar Corporation Inc. (GuySuCo) is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Civil Engineer. The successful candidate would be positioned at the Factory Operations Department. Head Office. LB1, East Coast Demerara.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of designs and bill of quantities for Factory related Civil Infrastructure works.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, evaluation reports and payment certificates.
- Supervise projects and ensure compliance to specifications.
- Provide technical support for civil related Factory projects.
- Provide periodic reports on the progress of projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University and three (3) years’ experience as a Civil Engineer.
Or
- A Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University and five (5) years’ experience as a Civil Engineer.
