Vacancy for Internal Auditor

Applications arc hereby invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Internal Auditor.

Qualification

BSc. in Accountancy or Level 1 1 ACC A with at least two years of professional experience.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Considerable knowledge of accounting principles and practices and auditing standards.
• High level of organizational skills.
• Excellent oral, written and listening skills.
• Ability to discern relevant information to make effective judgments and results oriented decisions.
• Knowledge of computer software such as MS Office (i.c. Word, Excel and Power Point) and e-mail communications.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret policies, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines applicable to the Guyana Rice Development Board.
  • Demonstrates affinity for integrated audit approach (IT audit knowledge, electronic work paper experience, and/or Computer Assisted Auditing Tools would be a plus).
  • Ability to work as a team member.
