Warehouse/ Logistics Coordinator

PURPOSE STATEMENT

• Manage the Warehouse processes to ensure the correct supply of Finished Goods supports the supply chain while maintaining the integrity of the stocks.
• Oversee and drive the continuous improvement of all warehouse processes.
• Provide Support to the MDE in the management of Merchandising Bond.

MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the Warehouse processes to ensure the correct supply of Finished Goods supports the supply chain while maintaining the integrity of the stocks.
• Execute the weekly offloading of 40/20 feet containers of Tobacco Related Products into the Finished Goods(FG)Bond.
• Supervise the External Supplier Casual Labourers ensuring that all KPIs under their contract such as offloading of containers, 100% execution of stock checks, reshuffling of warehouse, destruction of damaged products a re done in an efficient a nd timely manner.
• Oversee and drive the continuous improvement ofall warehouse processes.
• Provide Support to the Marketing Deployment Executive in the management of Merchandising Bond.
• Complies with all standards and procedures as outlined by the Workplace EH&S Policy
• Complies with all standardsand procedures as outlined bythe Quality ManagementSystem (QMS) and any other policies and procedures which impact product integrityand traceability.
• Support with asset management of all company related assets and share report with Finance Manager.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• University degree in a related field.
• Experience in Inventory Management or relevant experience in Supply Chain Management (3 – 5 years’)
• Computer literacy (MS Office compulsory)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate activities to allow for efficiency and effectiveness
• Ability to analyse, identify gaps and propose solutions.
• Working knowledge of other functions (Facilities, Finance, Logistics)
