ASSURANCE MANAGER
Main duties:
- Administering the logistics of managing the Quality Assurance Department
- Control of the Company’s quality documents and records
- Supervise and conduct quality control audit checks on all production facilities
- Assist the Manager in quality control checks, planning and review, and coordinating all departmental training
- Advise management on all matters relating to quality audits
- Develop and adopt analytical methods for the Chemical Laboratory.
- Supervise and conduct chemical analysis of samples.
- Prepare and issue reports from the Chemical Laboratory section of the QA Dept.
- Budget and manage the Chemical Laboratory resources.
- Conduct sanitation and quality control audit checks.
- Advise the Manager on matters related to quality of the Chemistry Laboratory’s delivery.
Job requirements:
- BSc degree in Chemistry or Food Technology or Food Science or any other related field from a recognised tertiary institution
- Practical training in research and laboratory techniques
- At least 5 years’ working experience in a quality assurance, preferably in a production facility
