DESCRIPTION
The Trainee Accountant assists with both clerical and administrative tasks, using accounting spreadsheets and databases or accounting software programs.
REQUIREMENTS
CXC’S grade 1-3 including English, Mathematics, and Principles of Accounts.
Minimun of two (2) years Accounting experience
Experience in taxation within an Auditing firm would be an advantage
Currently pursuing CAT or ACCA Qualification would be an asset
Knowledge of taxation and supporting documentation

Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
Daily entries of financial transactions in database
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
