OPERATIONS SENIOR ANALYST – INTER-AMERICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK

VACANCY 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Operations Senior Analyst with the IDB in Country Office Guyana.
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) consists of 26 country offices throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. IDB is seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to continue its operational work within the Team in Guyana.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or similar studies. Certification in Project Management is desirable.

Experience:

At least one year of relevant professional experience, preferably in administration of projects financed by multilateral development institutions or other external donors. Knowledge of national procurement policies, norms or practices and experience in writing reports is a plus.
Languages: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in another Bank language (Spanish. Portuguese, or French) is desirable, especially Spanish. If selected candidate is not Spanish-proficient, should commit to learning; language training is available).

• Citizenship: You are either a citizen of Guyana or a citizen of one of our 48-member countries with residency or legal permit to work in Guyana
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
