DESCRIPTION

As a Bodywork Technician, you will support the daily operations of the body shop by providing assistance to technicians and performing various tasks related to vehicle repair and restoration.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of a Level 1 certificate from GTI or any other recognized vocational institution with at least 1 year of experience in an automotive repair or bodywork shop..

Ability to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies quickly.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of the damage and create a repair plan.

Perform body repairs on damaged vehicles, including dent removal, rust repair, frame straightening, and welding.

Replace or repair damaged panels and parts, ensuring proper alignment and fit.

Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming as necessary.

Apply paint and finish coatings to repaired areas, ensuring a seamless and matching finish to the rest of the vehicle.

Clean and detail repaired vehicles to restore them to their original condition.

Maintain and clean tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order
