DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking an Accountant to provide support to our Finance Department.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or minimum of ACCA Level 3 qualification is required.

ACCA Membership would be a strong asset.

3-5 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance.

Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in financial software (e.g. QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and issue accurate and timely invoices to clients and ensure prompt payment processing.

Help maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries, and ensuring proper documentation.

Perform bank reconciliations and manage financial transactions.

Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting to support financial decision-making.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.

Collaborate with the finance team to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

Support internal and external audits and liaise with auditors as necessary.

Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable. Ensure accuracy and maintenance of organized records. Follow up with clients on outstanding balances.

Assist in financial data analysis and provide insights for financial planning.
