DESCRIPTION

To assist the Senior and Junior Mechanics. Ensure the service center is properly maintained and tools and equipment are accounted for.

REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of primary-level education and no experience required

RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleaning of Workshop

Ensure that the workshop area is cleaned and maintained at all times.

All garbage disposal containers are kept in sanitary conditions.

Ensure materials required for cleaning are available at all times.

Washing of vehicles – Parking Lot

Ensure vehicles are cleaned thoroughly both internally and externally when required.

Washing of vehicles – External

Wash vehicles externally before proceeding with servicing or repairs.

Tool Room

Ensure all tools are properly accounted for when issued/returned by maintaining Tool and Equipment Log Books.

Report when any tool or equipment is damaged or missing.

Ensure tools and equipment in the tool room are kept clean and stored safely.

Assist with checking the inventory of tools frequently.

Other duties will be assigned from time to time.
