DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of clients’ outcomes and the payroll team. The resultant outcomes must adhere to quality assurance, accuracy, consistent and uniform delivery, improved responsiveness to all stakeholders, and continuing systems and process improvement at all levels.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates interested in applying must have the following:
A minimum of 3 years of Supervisory or Management Experience is a must
ACCA, CPA, Master in Finance, BSc. Accountancy and or Finance, or a BA
Detail oriented a MUST
Ability to communicate articulately
Strong leadership skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
Attain an in-depth knowledge of our payroll process, requirements, and challenges
Understanding the team’s collective payroll process & client requirements
Host Meetings: Team Members Am/Pm Huddles, 1-on-1’s, Clients and Management
Monitor the team’s performance, and the department’s performance metrics, and perform cycle appraisal
Manage client expectations and deliverables against KPIs
Articulately address client and team members’ inquiries, queries
Be aware of all the clients’ running balances daily. This is central to managing cash in and outflows for payment approvals.
Approve client payments, reports, work done, and client billing log
To progressively:
Establish and or refine a guide that captures the Statement of Work (SOW) for the client’s contracted outcomes
Develop, test, and implement systems and controls that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team’s performance
