DESCRIPTION
Operates crane safely to load/unload, deliver, and stack containers and other cargo.
REQUIREMENTS
Completion of Secondary education (CSEC not required)
Experience as a Crane Operator would be an asset
Licensed to drive and operate Tractor
Ability to work flexible hours
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists mechanic in servicing and maintaining crane as per schedule maintenance.
Ensures routine daily checks on crane e.g. oil check, brakes, boom, wire rope etc.
Ensure that all lifting gears are in proper operating condition.
Ensures that crane operates within its lifting capacity.
