Duties
• Investigating complaints.
Taking detailed statements.
• The preparation and submission of investigative reports.
• Conducting follow-up investigations when required.
• The Investigative Officer is expected to perform any other related duties as may be assigned to him/her from time to time by the Ethnic Relations Commission.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Management/Business or a related field and;
• At least three (3) years of relevant investigative experience and;
• A Diploma in Social Work will be considered a significant advantage.
Or
■ Possess a Diploma in Public Management/Business or a related field and at least Five (5) Years of relevant investigative experience.
Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
■ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
Applicants should be open to travelling.
Applicants should also include a recent Police clearance and two (2) recent references.
