Our team is currently looking for a Site Security Contact/Supervisor I for a client in the Energy industry.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Certifications:
Degree in the Security field, Policing, Criminology or Business Administration.
Bosiet Certification
ISPS Certification
Experience:
5 years’ work experience in an offshore environment in a security role, or 10 years of progressively responsible experience within relevant commercial organizations.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years law enforcement, security, or military-related experience that includes exposure to staff supervision, security program administration, crime prevention and crisis management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in all aspects of the design, implementation, validation, maintenance, and improvement of the Security Program (Offshore).
Implements and documents the Site Security Activity Plan (SSAP) (Offshore) and Temporary Threat Escalation (TTE) Matrix (Offshore).
Serves as the Client’s Security Department’s focal point for offshore operations under the guidance of and in close coordination with the Security Lead (Offshore).
Coordinate security support for Offshore activities including but not limited to – Seismic, Wells / UIS and Production operations under the direction of the Security Lead (Offshore).
Participate in all ISPS regulatory inspections and exercises involving the Maritime Administration Department (MARAD) Guyana.
Review PFSA / PFSP when produced by the RSO.
Participate in safety meetings and programs.
Contribute to the on-going development and implementation of security plans for covered sites, facilities and activities.
Liaise with other external Security representatives as appropriate in coordination with the Security Lead (Offshore).
Maintain an effective offshore security program that includes policies, practices, procedures, equipment and technology required to respond quickly and appropriately to security emergencies and evacuations on a cost-effective basis.
Keep current on security and asset protection technology.
Ensure the Security Lead (Offshore) and as required the applicable Offshore Asset Manager, OIM, PIC’s and POC’s are regularly appraised of security issues.
Conduct on-hire security vessel inspections in conjunction with the Logistics Department.
REMUNERATION/BENEFITS
Working Schedule:
28 days on the vessel / 28 days off
12-hour shift
