A Major International Operator is currently seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to provide support to their internal operations.

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

· Proven experience as a Learning and Development Specialist in the oil and gas industry or a similar field.

· Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Proficiency in learning management systems and other learning technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Training Needs Analysis:

o Conduct regular assessments to identify learning and development needs within the organization.

o Collaborate with department heads and HR to understand specific skill gaps and performance improvement opportunities.

• Program Design and Development:

o Design and develop comprehensive learning programs, including e-learning modules, workshops, and other training materials.

o Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

• Content Delivery:

o Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and webinars for employees at various levels.

o Leverage various delivery methods, such as classroom training, virtual learning, and on-the-job training, to meet the diverse needs of the workforce.

• Learning Technology:

o Stay abreast of learning technologies and tools to enhance the delivery and effectiveness of training programs.

o Manage and maintain the learning management system (LMS) to ensure accessibility and user-friendly experience.

• Evaluation and Improvement:

o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback, assessments, and key performance indicators.

o Continuously improve training content and delivery based on feedback and changing business needs.
