DESCRIPTION

The senior collections officer is responsible for the overall delinquency management activities of the branch, whereas, efforts will be made to collect money from borrowers who have become delinquent.

REQUIREMENTS

College degree, some experience in finance and/or collections. Firm, determined, driven and a “no-nonsense” individual.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties will include but not limited to: managing the collections department of the branch to ensure that a collective effort is being done to reduce the branch arrears, making collection calls, doing collection visits, field work, preparing collection letters, seizing collateral, liaising with bailiffs and attorneys.
