DESCRIPTION

The Lubricator Foreman plays a critical role in ensuring that all equipment and machinery receive proper lubrication, contributing to their efficient operation and longevity.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum technical certification in maintenance or lubrication preferred.
  • Proven experience as a lubricator or in a similar maintenance role, with at least 5 years of experience in industrial lubrication.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of lubricants, lubrication techniques, and equipment maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with lubrication systems, including automated lubrication systems, is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and other departments.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in maintenance operations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of lubrication technicians and maintenance personnel.
  • Develop and implement lubrication schedules and procedures to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Monitor lubrication inventory levels and ensure adequate supply to support maintenance operations.
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to identify lubrication needs and ensure proper lubricants are used.
  • Conduct routine lubrication tasks, including greasing, oiling, and applying other lubricants to machinery components.
  • Maintain accurate records of lubrication activities, including usage, schedules, and equipment conditions.
  • Train and mentor lubrication technicians on proper lubrication techniques, safety procedures, and equipment maintenance practices.
  • Collaborate with maintenance planners and supervisors to schedule lubrication activities without disrupting production schedules.
  • Troubleshoot lubrication-related issues and recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies during all lubrication activities.
