DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the IT Department, managing technology operations, and ensuring the implementation of effective IT systems and solutions. The IT Network Manager will play a crucial role in strategic planning, project management, and the alignment of IT goals with business objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related certification.
– At least 5 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record in a senior leadership role
– Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP are highly desirable.
– Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, operations, network protocols, hardware and software.
– Strong project management skills, with experience in managing large-scale IT projects.
– Experience with network security tools and best practices.
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Strategic thinker with the ability to align IT initiatives with business goals.
– Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
1. Network Management:
– Design, implement, and maintain the company and its client’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
– Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
– Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security.
2. Innovation and Improvement:
– Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
– Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
– Lead initiatives to improve system performance, scalability, and user experience.
3. Security and Compliance:
– Implement and maintain robust IT security protocols to protect the organization’s data and systems from cyber threats.
– Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and privacy laws.
– Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
4. Leadership and Management:
– Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
– Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient and secure operations.
– Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute the company’s IT strategy and roadmap.
5. Project Management:
– Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
– Utilize project management methodologies to track progress, manage risks, and ensure successful project outcomes.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions
6. Vendor Management:
– Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services.
– Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance the network infrastructure.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
– Prepare and present regular reports on network performance, incidents, and projects to senior management.
