The Receptionist is responsible for helping an organization to run smoothly. Greet visitors, answer phone calls while maintaining professional composure throughout interactions with customers or potential clients.
This includes a well presented, articulate and confident individual with proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
· High school diploma
· Experience: Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role.
- Time Management: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. telephones and printers)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome:
- Welcome visitors positively
- Assist visitors with any inquires
- Register new visitors
- Issue membership badges to visitors
- Maintain office:
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Copying, filing and maintaining digital or paper records
- Teamwork and Communication:
- Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure a smooth working environment
- Ability to work along in teams
