Position Summary:
The Facilities Manager will oversee and direct all maintenance operations at the National Training Centre in Providence and the GFF
Secretariat. This role is essential for ensuring a safe, secure, and efficiently functioning environment, monitoring equipment and systems, managing maintenance teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regultions.
Requirements
Qualifications
- A Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or 10 years of experience in the field of maintenance management.
- A certificate in Facilities Management or a related field is an asset.
- At least 5 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of maintenance employees.
- Proficiency in maintenance-related machinery and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of facility maintenance regulations and codes.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the National Training Centre buildings, pitch, and infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality.
- Manage the maintenance of the buildings and facilities at the GFF
Secretariat.
- Oversee the maintenance of the GFF fleet of vehicles and other equipment andsystems.
- Conduct daily inspections of electrical, plumbing, and other essential
systems.
- Develop and manage facilities budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities.
- Identify, source, and purchase necessary materials and equipment.
- Manage and lead a team of maintenance staff, providing training and support as needed.
