MAIN FUNCTIONS
The Payables Coordinator will be responsible for providing day-to-day accounting and clerical support to the Finance Department.
The incumbent must be always confidential, professional and adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures.
Work schedule: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- CAT/ACCA Level 1 certified or similar
- 4+ years’ experience in a similar capacity
- Good understanding of GRA and VAT procedures
CORE COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Ability to work with accounting software.
- Proven oral, written, and active listening skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Responsibilities
- TASKS AND DUTIES:
- Payables, billings and payments account management
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Recording of transactions in an accounting software
- Update internal systems with all financial data
- Any other related duties assigned.
