MAIN FUNCTIONS

The Payables Coordinator will be responsible for providing day-to-day accounting and clerical support to the Finance Department.

The incumbent must be always confidential, professional and adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures.

Work schedule: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • CAT/ACCA Level 1 certified or similar
  • 4+ years’ experience in a similar capacity
  • Good understanding of GRA and VAT procedures

CORE COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

  • Ability to work with accounting software.
  • Proven oral, written, and active listening skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs

Responsibilities

  • TASKS AND DUTIES:
  • Payables, billings and payments account management
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Recording of transactions in an accounting software
  • Update internal systems with all financial data
  • Any other related duties assigned.
