Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in construction, concrete, and engineering? If so, we want to hear from you! The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, focusing on concrete work, scheduling, logistics, and technical engineering processes. This position requires a strong background in engineering principles, hands-on knowledge of concrete construction, and expertise in managing project logistics and schedules. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading teams in the construction industry, optimizing resources, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
· Certifications in construction management or relevant concrete industry certifications are a plus
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a specific focus on concrete operations and engineering
· Proven experience in project scheduling, logistics coordination, and handling large–scale construction projects
Responsibilities
· Oversee, and manage the daily operations of various projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
· Lead, direct, and supervise project teams, subcontractors, and vendors
· Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations
· Provide technical expertise in concrete operations, including pouring, curing finishing, and testing
· Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure proper concrete mix designs, quality control, and materials management.
· Troubleshoot and resolve any concrete-related issues that may arise on-site
· Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules ensuring milestones are met and resources are efficiently allocated
· Oversee the logistics of material delivery, equipment, and personnel to ensure seamless execution of the various phases of the project
· Proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts or delays and implement solutions to avoid project setbacks
· Monitor project expenses and costs, ensuring that the project remains within budgetary constraints
· Work closely with the finance team to report on cost tracking and identify areas for cost savings
· Approve purchase orders, invoices, and construction materials and services payments.
· Oversee and develop a team while conducting regular site inspections, and meetings to ensure progress and address operational challenges.
· Ensure all work meets regulatory standards, industry codes, and company quality control policies.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns related to the project execution.
· Prepare and deliver progress reports, schedules, and status updates to senior management and clients.
