The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of goods and services necessary for the operations of the logistics company. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.

- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes and logistics operations.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing procurement and supply chain management.

Responsibilities
- Sourcing and Supplier Management:
- Identify reliable suppliers for goods and services required in logistics operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct periodic reviews.
- Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
- Draft and manage procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Procurement Planning:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Forecast procurement needs and prepare budgets in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Order Management:
- Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
- Address and resolve any issues related to delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and relevant legal and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with operations, finance, and warehouse teams to align procurement with operational needs.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance.
