Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts and Payroll Manager to oversee and streamline the operations of our Accounts and Payroll section. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial management and accounting systems, with a proven ability to manage internal, monthly, and external client accounts.
Requirements
- ACCA certification or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in Accounting Software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, etc.)
- 3+ years of relevant experience with strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
Responsibilities
Includes but not limited to:
- Oversee daily and monthly accounting operations, including payment vouchers, payroll, utility bill summaries, and Peachtree postings.
- Reconcile bank transactions, client accounts, and prepare management accounts, client statements, and VAT reports.
- Generate and review departmental reports (weekly, monthly, and annual).
- Address client queries, prepare correspondence, and assist staff with challenges.
- Ensure timely invoices, follow-ups on outstanding payments, and compliance with deadlines.
