Description
The Administrative Assistant provides support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role involves handling administrative tasks, managing correspondence, maintaining records, and assisting staff as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma with a minimum of at least 5 CSEC subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English Language with 1 year working experience OR
- An Associate’s Degree in the business field such as office administration, business administration, business management, etc.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and directing visitors, answering phone inquiries and handling complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer queries from employees and clients.
- Maintain and update the company database.
- Responsible for the management and procurement of office stationery and supplies.
- Prepare reports and presentations as assigned.
- Schedule in-house and external events.
- Handles all walk-in and phone interactions with visitors, maintain company calendars and travel arrangements and providing all secretarial support services.
- Provides assistance in handling the company’s business with government agencies and utility companies such as GPL, GT&T and GWI.
- Attend meetings and record notes and messages for managers and senior-level officers.
- Company Software Administrator (PBS).
- Any other duties as assigned by Management.
