Description
The Sports Reporter is responsible for covering, researching, and reporting on sports events, news, and stories. This role involves attending live games, interviewing athletes and coaches, and creating engaging content for print, digital, and broadcast media.
Requirements
- Excellent Knowledge of Sports.
- Experience in Similar Capacity.
- Strong command of the English Language.
- No Less than a Grade 2 in English A at the Caribbean Examinations Council or its equivalent.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Be a highly motivated self-starter.
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and submit high-quality articles, features, and news reports on sports-related topics.
- Attend sports events, matches, and press conferences to gather firsthand information.
- Interview athletes, coaches, and sports officials for exclusive stories and quotes.
- Work closely with editors, photographers, and videographers to deliver compelling stories.
