CIVIL ENGINEER – One Communications

Description

This individual will be responsible for conducting inspections, coordinating maintenance tasks and for the planning and execution of new building and civil projects to the Company’s Facilities. 

Requirements

• University Diploma in an Engineering discipline (preferably Civil) or related field required; plus 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.   

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or other drafting software 

• Working experience in preparation of Bill of Quantities or other quantitative documentation. 

• Valid driver’s license for Car/Van would be an asse

Responsibilities

1. Conduct site visits, collect information, prepare sketches using AUTOCAD and quantities and assist generally in the planning and execution of civil works projects. 

1. Supervise works being undertaken by contractors in accordance with technical specifications of projects.  

1. Prepare purchase requisitions, payment certificates and other required documents for works, services and supplies.  

1. Perform routine civil inspection of One Communications properties and document findings.
