Requirements

Must have prior expierence in same field will be an asset

Must have a valid Food handler’s certificate. 

Responsibilities

1. Assist in the preparation of meals for inpatients admitted and for hospital canteen.
2. To assist in the serving of meals to patients, from kitchen location (only).
3. To assist in frequent garbage disposal.
4. To up keep all sanitary rules and regulations at all times.
5. To assist in labeling of food items when purchased.
6. Assist with the maintenance stock records of goods purchased and utilized daily and maintain other records relevant to dietary department, in the absence of Head cook.
7. To ensure kitchen hygiene is maintained at all times.
8. To clean all kitchen utensils after use.
9. To clean the kitchen and canteen areas and their surroundings on a daily basis.
10. Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time.
