Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Logistics Dispatcher will ensure efficiency of operations and client relations, in an effort to fulfil the aim of CTLS’ mandate. Our Team is enhanced by effectively communicating with and accommodating the voices of our Clients; and through internal appreciation and cooperation amongst each CTLS team member, with a focus on one singular goal: excellent service delivery to our Clients and Stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum five CXC subjects – Grade 1-3 – Mathematics and English.
• A certificate or Diploma in logistics and supply chain will be an asset.
• Prior Experience as a Dispatcher will also be an asset.
• Familiarity with Motor Vehicle Laws and Regulations.
• Exemplary Communication Skills (both written & verbal).
• Outstanding People Skills.
• Good Data Analysis and Reporting Ability.

Responsibilities

• Communication with Drivers and Clients to fulfill the company’s mandate of Client satisfaction.
• Liaise and communicate with Clients and Client Representatives, to coordinate any ad-hoc and/or emergency transfers.
• Take Driver calls for information and assistance while on assignments and trips.
• Maintain and file records and assist with the completion of company and Client reports.
• Instruct Drivers in operating procedures or schedule changes.
• Schedule vehicles as needed, input miles and hours for vehicle trips, maintain schedules for Drivers.
• Update the notice board with all transfer request and assignment on a daily basis.
• Maintain up-to-date records of Drivers’ licenses and other Operational documentation for each Driver.
• Maintain and track training certifications and documentation for Drivers.
• Follow internal standard operating procedures (SOP) to facilitate compliance with government regulatory requirements.
