Description

We are looking for a Kitchen Steward to ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and fully equipped. The Kitchen Steward plays a crucial role in maintaining hygiene and assisting with dishwashing, waste disposal, and general kitchen upkeep.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a steward or dishwasher is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, counters, and storage areas.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and chemicals are used properly and safely.
• Assist in waste management, including disposing of garbage and recycling.
• Restock kitchen supplies and assist with inventory checks.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Follow food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a hygienic environment.
